크린셀 박홍욱 대표가 독자적으로 연구 개발(발명특허 등록 3건)한 스마트잉크는 미세전류가 흐르는 무전원 방식으로, 다양한 소재 표면에 인쇄한 후 △땀 △소변 △상처 삼출물 △소독용 식염수 △화장품 △제약 등에 포함된 소량의 전해질 환경에서 전기화학적 반응으로 발생한 전위차에 의해 외부로부터 전원공급이 필요없는 미세전류가 자발적으로 발생하는 원천기술이다.
미세전류는 1000마이크로암페어 이하의 전류를 의미한다. 건강한 사람의 인체에는 수십 마이크로 암페어의 생체전기가 흐르고 있기 때문에, 스마트잉크 제품을 이용해 지속적인 전기 화학적 반응으로 발생하는 생체전기와 유사한 미세전류로 인체에 공급해 상처 회복에 필요한 유전자가 생성됐음을 관찰했다.
이번 개발품은 항균 및 소취 성능을 유지할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 또한 △마스크팩 △헤어팩 △가발이너라이너 △패치류 △퍼프류 △패치류 등의 ‘코스메틱 분야’ △드레싱류 △병원 소모품 등의 ‘메디컬 분야’ △의류(레깅스·수영복) △운동화 등의 ‘스포츠용품 분야’에 다양하게 적용될 수 있다.
